I've been researching other brands and types of screen protectors for my Switch. I chose this one because it's not very thick so my switch still fits snugly in the dock, but it's not too thin either. I worked on a flat, clean surface. First, I gently wiped the screen with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove any residue and make sure it wasn't smudged, then polished it with the wet wipes that came with it. That's all I did. Then I removed the protective film from the protector and carefully applied it to the display. I'm very adept at alignment, so I didn't use any special technique. The protector stuck quickly, then I used a flat piece of plastic to squeeze a few air bubbles out of the rim. I was nervous at first, but I don't think it mattered much. You just have to do it in a well-lit room, make sure there's no dust or hair around, and everything should be ready before you start. And keep the sticky side of the protector down throughout the donning process. It turned out very well and the screen is still crystal clear.
