I've used these swabs for 2 very different purposes - cleaning firearms and cleaning electronic boards and connectors. These swabs have been excellent in both applications. I really like that they aren't fuzzy and leave behind no fuzz or other remnants. They've held up very well to the somewhat sharp angles and surfaces found in cleaning firearms and not fallen apart. For electronics, they've worked really well for cleaning traces on PCB's as well as contact surfaces on various electronics and electrical connectors.
