Almost all serious language learners know that you need as much time as possible to fully immerse yourself in a language, especially if you don't live in the country where the language is being studied . This single earbud makes listening to speech throughout the day very easy and convenient. I listen to MP3s of TV shows in the target language on an old iPhone. I can imagine what I saw and heard during the day. This makes it easy to check in and out of passive listening with little to no effort. It keeps an ear out to hear what's going on around you while you work, it's semi-discreet and looks like a phone handset for taking calls, which it can, but I don't use it that way. I'm impressed with the sound quality. I've been wearing these earbuds for about 5 hours and they're pretty comfortable and the battery lasts with no issues. It comes with 2 different sized rubber ear tips and is easy to put on. You can also use it without the rubber earbuds. The charger is pretty handy as it uses two prongs to transfer power with a magnet that allows the earbud to stay attached to the charger at whatever angle you plug it into the USB port. I like it, but it can also be inconvenient if your USB charger isn't in a convenient location or is too full. Some other headphones used a USB cable with a mini end or something similar to a headphone cable. Since the earcup is so small, I found the mini-USB slot on the earcup to be gaudy. I also don't need another cable with a unique adapter that fits this little headphone. This seems to work well and makes it easy to manage parts for loading. It's also easy to use. The control knob is large, making it easy to pause the audio.
