I ordered these two sandals and a pair of chacos (double the price!). I'll keep the sketches and return the tacos. I love the plastic clasp on the sketchers and the fact that the front straps rise further up the leg than the tacos. I think they look cuter and are just as functional. The feeling of the sandal on my foot is very similar for both brands. The straps on the sketchers aren't adjustable like the tacos, but they fit my foot perfectly. I have long feet but not fat ones. I wear size 10 shoes and the tens in these sketchers fit me perfectly. If you have a thicker (chubby?) foot, the fact that they aren't fully adjustable means they may not fit you. But for me they are perfect!
