Choose her, not Chaco!

I ordered these two sandals and a pair of chacos (double the price!). I'll keep the sketches and return the tacos. I love the plastic clasp on the sketchers and the fact that the front straps rise further up the leg than the tacos. I think they look cuter and are just as functional. The feeling of the sandal on my foot is very similar for both brands. The straps on the sketchers aren't adjustable like the tacos, but they fit my foot perfectly. I have long feet but not fat ones. I wear size 10…

Not bad, but not the best

Originally bought as a cheaper option as I wasn't sure how often I would like to have them. For the past few months or so I've carried them to Niagara Falls, backpacking at a remote campground, and Ice Age hiking trails. When I first put them on one finger strap was tighter than the other which was annoying but it has since snapped. In general, my feet have never hurt or blistered. The only reason I don't give it a five is because of the "adjustable" strap. As others have said, it's really just

Tight around the toe!

Good. It's hard for me. I love this shoe. On the left leg. It is very comfortable. Excellent arch support. I love that the ankle strap is adjustable for a snug fit. I wore them all day on concrete, sand and water with no issues. But apparently my right leg is a freak of nature. The straps on my big toe were so tight and painful that at the end of the day I had to pull my toes out and just let the back straps hold the shoe. I have a lot of weird looks, but I won't suffer from fashion for hours…

Very uncomfortable fit, definitely buy with free returns

I was really looking forward to these sandals as I liked the look of them. I hike a lot in the summer and had to replace a pair of my Jambu sport sandals. They fit worse than any shoes or sandals I've ever tried on. I have other Skechers so I was really surprised by this issue. Depending on the width of the shoe, I get by with a size 9 1/2 or 10 Skechers. I ordered these in size 10. The width was ok, but they were an inch and a half too long. Sometimes I can wear 9 1/2, but at least an inch of…

Well made, strong but pretty

I've always been pleased with Skechers construction and durability. I read most of the reviews before purchasing these sandals so let me join the debate on whether or not to stretch. Only one of my two strap combos stretches on my pair. This is a duo on the instep and only on the inside of the shoe. You see it's hard to explain. On the inside, there are three places where the straps attach to the sole: toe, ankle, and midsection; only the middle part is stretched, not the outer part of the…
