Review on Intel Pentium Processor G3220 BX80646G3220 by Adam Kowalski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

I took the G3258 one of the first, so straight to the point: - yes, it runs well, but consumption and heat dissipation are growing: miracles do not happen. On the other hand, it’s enough even without overclocking, and instead of “records for show”, I set up turbo boost, as in older models, now it’s very good) - drives memory without problems, set the Kingstons to 2400. - Built-in graphics really pleased with the picture! I still remember how I showed the GMA900 . - you shouldn't expect miracles from the built-in graphics in terms of speed, according to tests, something turned out in the 9600GT region if you remember such times))) On the other hand, the video core also accelerates . ) - VID = 12022V, they say the whole early batch is like that, I don’t think it’s a minus, what’s the difference if 99% of the time it keeps 800MHz and the voltage is around 0.7V? And for serious overclocking, you still have to set 1.3-1.4V . - But without overclocking, cold: 45-48 degrees in 100% continuous load under Arctic 11 Pro, HWMonitor shows 37 watts (out of 53 declared) In general, the percentage is quite successful, and when the price returns to normal, it will become simply the best in the line. But if you want it right now, then don't forget one more small detail - the motherboard manufacturers have just released the bios for it, and it's almost impossible to buy a motherboard in the store that will immediately understand such a percentage. Some stores, of course, sew bios on the spot, some send it to a service center, and some just send it . But perhaps it's worth it. It may not be a miracle, but it happens)

Pros
  • Budget stone with a huge margin
Cons
  • He took one of the first, the price did not please. Should be ok now
