I ordered this item because it was made in the USA even though it was about 2x the price of similar items. I didn't mind paying more but was disappointed that one of the videos was broken. When the locking mechanism activated, the metal supporting the axle broke. The defect can be seen in the photo I posted. There is a bulge in the metal so that the locking lever can press a little. It seems that the process of bending the metal to make this part has fatigued the metal too much. So I returned the first order and ordered again, assuming it was a one off order. A new product has arrived, one of the wheels has the same defect. I expect others to fail at some point, so I will be returning this item as well and getting something else. Note that the nature of this error is not just that the locking mechanism fails. The whole roller is broken and can no longer bear any weight. The axis is no longer held after a break. This review is for a 3" reel with 3/8" shank, 4 piece set with 2 locks.
