Review on Zecti Waterproof Retractable Equipment Mirrorless by Ashton Dahmer

Just the right number of compartments for a retro takeaway bag!

I didn't buy this bag for my camera but to carry a retro kit for retro gaming. Needless to say I made the right choice because this bag was just the right size. As you can see from my photos, this bag was big enough to fit my Retropy in a SNES case, 2 Dualshock 4 controllers, an HDMI cable and a hard drive case. with lots of tech extras, two 10ft micro USB cables, portable keyboard, power adapter and power cord. It was a bit cramped inside because I originally placed the controllers, both micro USB cables were in external pockets on either side of the bag, but I managed. controller, Retropi, HDMI cables, and hard drive fit perfectly in the open extended central storage compartment, even with 10ft cables tucked in the sides of the bag. I removed them because I didn't need them. It also came with something like a pocket poncho to protect it from the rain, but I didn't see the need for that as I see no need to wear it in the rain. A poncho is a good accessory if you take your camera with you when you travel and don't want to worry about getting it wet. However, the label on the bag says it's waterproof, but I haven't tested it, so I'm not sure if that's true. I really like the durable rubberized texture at the bottom of the bag. It is good to know that the bag can be placed on a rough/dirty surface, without worrying about damaging the bag or its contents. I would like to have a little more room in the top compartment where I stowed the PSU and power cord because it was tight. fits, and I might have trouble installing it if I upgrade to a hardwired PSU, but I'll worry about that in the future. What I like least about this case is how loud the flash is. They ring every time you move the bag and after a while it gets annoying. I might end up covering the zippers with flexible caulk or some other material to make the noise a little less annoying. I wish there was a little more room in the top compartment where I store the PSU and power cord, because they fit exactly and I may have trouble installing them. if I switch to a power supply with a fixed power cable, I will take care of that in the future. What I don't like about this case is how loud flashes work. They ring every time you move the bag and after a while it gets annoying. I might end up covering the zippers with flexible caulk or some other material to make the noise a little less annoying. I wish there was a little more space in the top compartment where I put the PSU and power cord because they fit snugly and I may have trouble installing if I switch to the PSU with a hard power cord, but I will be concerned about that in the future. What I don't like about this case is how loud lightning works. They ring every time you move the bag and after a while it gets annoying. I might end up covering the zippers with flexible caulk or some other material to make the noise a little less annoying.
