I carry a large iPhone 8 Plus on my belt to avoid accidental breakage or loss. I always carry a spare belt clip because I know it's only a matter of time, maybe a year or so, before the spring-loaded part holding it to my belt breaks. This almost always happens when it gets caught in the belt. seat belt when I get out of my truck. It seems to be typical of brackets of this type. I've tried different brands but I've never found one that's "durable" or so secure my phone won't fall out and just as easy to take off and use. I don't see many people using a belt clip for a large smartphone. When people notice, I'll tell them this is my plasma TV. I think other people have it in their pockets. I have never broken a screen or lost my phones while using this holster. I love that I only have to touch the holster to make sure I haven't forgotten it. If anyone could figure out how to keep the clip from breaking I'd happily pay more to have one. Haven't found anything better than the Otter Box brand though. I think I paid more for it a few years ago. is it fake Probably no. The ones in Otterbox didn't last anymore. I just took this break after a year. I might have lasted longer if I'd been careful every time I got off the truck. But I'm not like that.
