I am writing this review about 10 months after installing it on the ceiling of my entrance. These speakers sound fantastic and have withstood one of the harshest Pennsylvania winters in recent memory! I turned them back on a few days ago and they sound just as good as when they were installed last spring. I have worked professionally with music and sound and the detail you get from them is top notch. They easily compare to cheaper studio monitors used for critical listening, which is surprising considering they have plastic diaphragms that can withstand the elements. Dayton Audio WBA31 by Parts Express. (Amplifier isn't really the best choice anymore, I just wanted to hear the original class D mini amp standard.) You can also power a Bluetooth amp like the Fosi BT20A or AIYIMA A03 if you only need Bluetooth. Connections and don't worry about streaming Spotify or Tidal. And you can use the Echo device for audio streaming in place of the WBA31, and use the aux-out to connect it to an amp of your choice. Hook these speakers up to an amp like the AIYIMA A07, Topping MX3, or Loxjie A10 and you've got a pretty cool, reasonably good outdoor setup for little money.
