Review on Medium Ash Brown-8# SWACC Short Messy Curly Dish Hair Bun Extension With Easy Stretch Combs Clip In Ponytail Scrunchie Chignon Tray by Brenda Mitchell

No More Lousy, Mousy Flat Hair!

I grew tired of flat straight hair, in a boring French braid or braided bun everyday. Once I picked the right colour (light brown with beige blonde), this worked well for me. In fact, I've bought four of these SWACC pieces. Before wearing, I mist a bit of Roux temporary rinse on them to tone down the bright (slightly brassy) blonde, use a little spray conditioner to tame any frizzy parts, and I change the combs out for some Good Hair Days combs, which really stay put in my fine hair. Now, each morning, I wash my hair, dry it, and scrape it all into a top bun. I then put a comb under the front part of my bun (parallel to my forehead), and stretch the piece to get the back comb down to the bottom/back part of my bun, with my bun between the combs, then push in the combs under the bun to secure. I don't put the combs in sideways (perpendicular) because that doesn't work for me.It's a bit much, at first, to see this gloriously curled crown of hair on my head but I've grown accustomed to it, and I love it. It reminds me of Endora's hair on Bewitched.very Grande Dame. I finally have a hairdo that I enjoy and (I think) enhances my overall look.

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • The chignon tray may be too small for long hair, resulting in an incomplete look
