If you don't have very long hair - say, belly button hair - they won't work. My hair is down to my shoulders, almost to my elbows, and it was so difficult to wrap it around a bandage. If it were a little smaller or shorter it would certainly work well. It's almost very uncomfortable. My hair kept falling out of the shaft. I regret ordering it. but I'll keep it for when my hair grows longer, or maybe I'll give it to my sister who has long thick hair. Anyway, if you have medium length, fairly fine or thin hair, I don't recommend it.
