Review on πŸ“± Black S-View Flip Cover Case for Samsung Galaxy Note10+ (US Version) with Warranty by Sade Tucker

Impressive looks, not so impressive for protection

Loved the look of this case. I've seen them before for my old Note 9 so I ordered this case when I upgraded to 10+. Lots of positives: it's really beautiful, it's clean, it's very light, it doesn't add size, or at least it's barely noticeable. The side display function is convenient and useful. The plastic material it is made of is easy to clean and looks brand new with a simple wipe. Do not use abrasive cleaners as the transparent part of the side display can be damaged very easily, which I think is a downside, but be aware that it is easy to soften. A few cons to be aware of: 1) Not that it's probably a big deal for most people, but with any folio-style case like this, you can't use standard dashboard mounts in your car without taking the phone with you out of the case. Most of the time I wouldn't mind taking it in and out all the time, but this case is so thin I'm afraid the plastic brackets will snap off pretty quickly. 2. It is important. If you're even a little clumsy like me, look elsewhere! This case is designed to look good, not protect! My screen cracked the first time I dropped my gorgeous new Note 10+, and if you didn't know (pardon the pun), screen replacements on these phones cost a whopping $289. Ouch. It really hurts And if you take it to a store or replace the screen yourself, you lose the IP68 rating, as it requires a special machine to push the replacement glass into place and then seal it in a vacuum chamber. One last small note. " - sorry for the pun, but I had to - insure my phone! Worth Avenue Group has a great policy (and they work with Progressive Insurance too, so if you use them for your car etc it's a good deal , since you get a discount on multiple policies), Akko is even better, insuring your phone plus up to 25 devices for a ridiculous price (especially if you have an .edu email address) or if you bring the phone to your Buy Cellular Provider or here at Revain and it offers you the opportunity to purchase an Asurion policy, do it, it will be worth every penny and more!
