The switch worked but note the Note 10 HDMI output to the TV

The switch seemed to work fine. The Switch screen turns off during use. However, the Note 10 just flickered on and off, so I think the Note 10 needs another USB-c to HDMI port. Or use screen mirroring if your TV supports it. In any case, this method works fine on Samsung TVs. Haven't tried it on a laptop but it might work on a DEX.
