As my name suggests these stools are very well made and the perfect height. At least for me and my husband he is 5ft 9ft and about 190 tall. These stools offer more support than a three-legged stool. PLUS the fabric part of the seat is REMOVABLE, the fabric part attaches with screws, not those flimsy rivets that aren't very strong. You may be wondering why a detachable Canas seat is a good feature, first and foremost it's fun to swap out. I put a piece of fabric over the existing canvas and now it blends in with other things. :-) As a second reason, it would be nice if it needed to be renovated. Which never happened. But it's nice to know that repairs will be easy. The third reason is ease of cleaning - not required for regular cleaning, but great if you have a big mess. By the way, it has a nice pocket that can fit a cell phone.
