I have many coffee making tools at home (French Press, Chemex, Aeropress, Coffee Maker). It makes flavorful coffee in a fun way. I hooked it up to a butane heat source and it's pretty fast. I get two reasonable cups of coffee from a 20 ounce siphon. Fill the upper half with 30 mg of medium and allow to solidify. I wouldn't use it as my daily morning cup as I usually make my lunch while the coffee brews and I don't want to leave it unattended, but for an afternoon cup or weekend morning it's fun and clean tasting. . I replaced the filter with a metal filter for easier cleaning.
