Almost Hot Donna for my opinion
By the Norse gods, I have been blessed with 17.5" circumference calves. The socks are not knee-high in my situation - only coming to about mid-calf with the colors nearly nonexistent stretched to the extremes. The thickness of the socks is of good quality, however, and I find myself jealous of individuals who might splendor in their glory.
