Review on Bissell ProHeat Lift Off 15651 by Drexel Wortham

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Will not remove water from velor or plush carpets

Reviews for Revain were very positive; Consumer reports ranked it number one. So why did I give 1 star? I have a low pile rug and good thick rugs. When cleaning, I noticed that there was almost no water in the return tank. For deep pet cleaning, the cleaner I bought recommended only rinsing the carpet with water after cleaning and extracting the water. There is no way this cleaner will extract anything other than about a cup of water. I spoke to Bissell support and followed their advice. Do not go. At that point it was too late to give it back to Revane. Bissell traded it in for a refurbished one, but I had to pay for shipping. The new one didn't come either. Take it to the nearest repair shop. A technician poured water over a piece of nearly lint-free industrial carpet. He got water. "It works," he said. "Your problem is that the pile is too thick." The most decent carpet has a good pile. I don't understand the rave reviews. Just a couple of mentions that he doesn't take water. I have two bad devices? Anyway, I'll write about the purchase in a year, because I'm giving up and ordering a vacuum cleaner. Vacuum cleaner sucks water! Much water. Offer you a vacuum cleaner.
