Our dog (who looks like a llama in the photos) started licking his 'hands' nervously/stressed and gets nervous when we put a cone on him. So I bought some socks thinking if they didn't fit I would just wash them and keep them for my 4 year old niece. Thankfully, they work amazingly! I can't rate how they sit on a human baby, but these are amazingly thick and durable socks. Ours is carpeted, but I was happy to see that the socks also have little rubber grips at the bottom. If I were to buy them for a two-legged child I would be very happy with them!
