I ordered these to add photos to the binders my sons use to organize their boy scout patches. They worked fantastically. They're fat, but not too fat. The holes are only on one side of the page, so I included two pictures of each, one on each side. It fits perfectly in a standard three ring binder you can buy anywhere. I haven't added any captions yet but it would be easy to do and the holes are on the same side as the photo holes. When I do this I create a template in PSE, print a few on a piece of paper and cut them out. I will definitely be ordering more of these photo holders as I need to transfer my photos from my computer to print!
