The clip is great - really well designed and made. But it really should come with a 5/8"-27Mic threaded nut. Otherwise, screw the mic clamp down until it won't turn, and then stick in that position. You can fiddle with a small piece of thread. It's a tedious trial-and-error process that can be worked out with the same nut that comes with any traditional mic stand, and it's a hassle because if you buy them separately from Revain like, they'll cost almost as much as the collar itself, even though it's just a nut.
