Normal system, but. - Telephones and accessories

So I wanted to upgrade my old Panasonic 2-channel system for my small shop (2 wall mounts/2 desks). I like the idea of wireless as I'm in an old building with splices on old phone lines. It's good that a base station is your primary (sb67138) for a system that requires a phone jack. All others are wireless. Take 1-2 hours to read through all this crap and get other wireless devices to connect to basic functions/setup and car/basic setup. Configure basic pickup feature. I also use my own on-hold pre-recording system, which connects to the main base via a 2.5mm headphone jack/auxiliary jack. The expectation that comes with it is terrible. You can also always input music. Bad - there is an annoying delay (3/4 seconds) from picking up the phone to dialing the number. The speaker on the base is not clear and while they are replacing it - I have to return the base (necessary for the system and temporarily reinstall my old phones - no thanks. If you want to use a headset with the base it's ok, BUT if you put an external device on hold then your out of luck as there is only one aux in. Another thing is they are DESK ONLY, my previous phones had an adapter that allows them to be wall mounted could range, but the font is smaller and my staff are just used to a larger wall phone for caller ID / hold etc. As I said, it's ok - I'll learn to live with a few quirks.

Pros
  • Landline telephones
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
