I have had a BENQ MH530FHD 1080P projector for almost 2 years now and use it for movies and Xbox games with my wife and kids or when guests are over. When the lights came on recently I was horrified at the idea of taking the projector apart, but I also didn't want to buy a new projector as the MH530FHD is very popular for gaming. To be honest I had to take a closer look because I thought replacing a "lamp" was as easy as unscrewing a lightbulb. I ended up disassembling the projector and realizing I should have bought a lamp (not a bulb) which would cost a little more money but would require a little less disassembly. Instead, I bought this lightbulb that fits in the lightbulb. As a result, I spent less money, but disassembly requires more effort as I have to disassemble and reassemble the lamp. In short, I'm very glad I made a mistake and bought this lamp. Although I couldn't find a lamp disassembly video for my particular model of projector, I was still able to figure out how to replace the bulb inside the lamp myself. As for the quality of this bulb, I just watched a 4 hour Snyder Cut version of Justice League with my wife and kids and we couldn't tell this bulb apart from the original OEM. If this lamp gives me the same quality for another year or two, I will definitely buy it again!
