I only ordered this lamp a few weeks ago. When I first opened it up and tried to plug in the charger I had trouble getting into the hole. The charging port design is not very good. Eventually I did it, and the lamp worked fine for about a week. After the second week, I don't know how it happened, but the whale's eyes penetrated the product. It still worked, but they hung around inside. My son liked the whale as his night light and was very excited until it started breaking. Shortly after the eyes fell inward, another piece came loose that I could hear inside. I later found that I can no longer connect the charger as it won't stay in place. The charging plug never left my desk and was not damaged. It's possible that what was dangling inside somehow affected the charging area inside the product. Now it's basically useless. I can't even plug it in to charge. I know it wasn't too expensive but I expected it to work better. I am very disappointed in the product.
