I installed this on an Intel I9 processor (lga1200 socket) and got about a ten degree Fahrenheit improvement over the stock Intel cooler that came with the chip . The chip still gets pretty hot, but this cooler worked well enough to basically eliminate the thermal throttling issue I was having with heavy usage. The size is great - I just tried the cooler on another computer that was actually blocking the next RAM slot so I was a little nervous, but it fits my z490 pro motherboard perfectly. My only complaint about it is that it's a bit of a pain to set up. Getting him to sit and stay properly was a bit of a struggle. Overall a win at this price.
