The standard laptop charger that came with my HP laptop has some design flaws that cause the cables to wear out very quickly and it became obvious that another charger had to be bought to use. When you're away from home, extend the life of your Original HP charger. While the HP Specter gives me a message that "this is not an HP charger" every time I plug in this secondary charger, this Nekteck charger works just fine. I like Nekteck's excellent design with extra USB charging ports (although I tape them up to keep them "clean" when not in use when throwing them in my gear bag) and the build quality of the material, the Nekteck For this, the charger appears to be as good, if not better than the HP OEM charger. I also charged a Google Pixel phone using this Nekteck charger's USB-C charging port and it charges quickly. Highly recommended as a backup/replacement USB (C) charger.
