I've had this device for a few months and use it with my Macbook and iPad Pro to charge it faster than regular 2.4A USB chargers. With USB-C, it charges my Macbook Pro 30- 60W, iPad Pro 28W and USB-C power adapter max 45W. It gets quite hot at over 30W load but never burns.
