Cannot be shortened
The Velcro fastener comes loose when the jacket is cut to size. I've used DEI material in the past and the heat protection has been great so I just added a couple of zip ties to compensate for the lack of velcro. Hopefully this will keep my newly reconditioned gearbox mount from melting.
