Review on πŸ’‡ Tifara Beauty Hair Rollers - 42-pack of 7-inch Flexible Curling Rods by Azizah Jefferson

Simple, no curls!

I can't believe I waited so long to buy these beauties. Incredibly easy to use, these curlers create gorgeous curls that last for days. I've tried every non-heat curling method - sleep stylers, braids, boho headbands and all the other tutorials on YouTube - and this is the only one that works. The set comes in a nice zipped case with seven different roll sizes. I only used the two largest sizes (blue and pink). When I first tried them, I rolled them up at the bottom like traditional scooters. They're easy to hold in place once you figure out how to crimp the ends. (Tip: If you're curling away from your face, as most of you probably are, you'll need to fold the edges into a "U" shape. If you're curling towards your face, you'll need to fold them the other way around, ends down I slept in it and I had incredibly bouncy, Shirley Temple-style curls. I actually spent some time tugging on them to straighten my curls - they were too tight for a woman in her 30s, ha! The second time I changed the curling technique because I wanted looser curls. After a night of showering with wet hair, I pressed the roller against my head and wrapped my hair around the barrel, away from my face. This technique caused the ends of my hair to stand out a bit, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The curls looked much more natural. (The first time I curled it and the ends were completely curled it looked a little crazy.) I pulled out the curlers in the morning and I had beautiful, loose curls that looked like I curled them with a curling iron ( it was the same look I get by spending 30 minutes with my 1 inch curling iron). I almost cried for joy. I don't need heat styling anymore! They're not exactly comfortable to sleep on, but if you position them properly (gathered around your ears and on top of your head, leaving the back of your head open) a soft pillow will work for you. I had no trouble sleeping on them, but I did sleep on your back. I think they are incredibly easy to use and you should have no problem using them even if you are new to hairstyling. I'm not a professional hairstylist, I know how to use curling irons and I'm pretty good at styling hair the way you want it with styling tools. I'm just lazy and I don't want to spend an hour doing my hair every morning. In the photo I am with slightly lengthened curls, then two days later (!) then the last, looser curls, which I like so much.
