Leaks will occur when using dairy products such as halves or sour cream. They're not easy to fill with thick foods like mayonnaise, but they work well with barbecue sauce, ketchup, and mustard. I tried minced garlic with a large spout and it didn't come out. I've tried half and half with a medium spout and sometimes it shoots out to the side. If I'm careful and hold it upside down, that's enough. I haven't tried the salad dressing yet. I'm not sure if those with particles like Russian and some vinaigrettes disperse both solids and liquids. The cleaning went well. Probably the best option for most sauces and products of a similar consistency.
