This stuff works way better than overpriced pet deodorant. I have 6 cats and 4 ferrets. I sprinkle this in the litter boxes after every scoop or litter change. I also subscribed to this article as it has become a staple in my family. To be honest, none of my friends can even say I have animals until they see them. There are litter boxes and a ferret cage in my home office and I didn't smell a bird smell when I first started using these things. The product lasts longer than other brands I've tried and smells like a faint smell of bleach when you literally put your nose in a jar and sniff it hard. After mixing it with the filler, it doesn't smell at all. It simply neutralizes the smell of clay and urine from the litter box. Not dusty either. I have a hepa filter next to the tray and since switching to this filter I have had to change the filter less often. I've also found that handle and hammer trays absorb odor and shorten the life of my litter, causing me to throw out other brands of trays more often. I only throw out once a month when all my trash comes in and I scoop every day. I used to have to throw out all the trash every week because there was too much poultry in the box with all the flavored products I used. I also like the packaging. I've never had a broken container since ordering this stuff and I love reusing shakers too. A very good product which in my opinion is superior to the others
