I have an older cat who gets stressed easily in new situations. When her brother died last year, we got another kitten a few months later and she went nuts! City of Drama! Slobbery, refused to eat, moaned and cried for many days. After some research I came across these diffusers and decided it was worth a try. I consulted our vet and she advised me to give it a try. Where the hell has my poor kitty's whole life been? The results weren't immediately visible, but after a day, she stopped drooling and moaning. The next day she started eating. So I bought more and put them in the common areas of the house. She started crawling out from under the bed and when she seemed much better we slowly began to reintroduce her to the new kitten. I wouldn't say they're best friends now, but they eat next to each other and have no problem sharing sunny window seats. Now that we are moving I have purchased replacement diffuser bags and hope they both help. Kittens adapt to a new environment a little easier. Soothing collars help too, so I'm doubling down! Overall, I'm surprised at how well they help!
