Review on Foldable 8 Panel Playpen Kennel Storage by Sarah Anderson

I received this playpen as an exercise pad for our pet rat which is certainly not something most people would use it for. Below is a standard size bath mat to give you an idea of the size (and he's a very young rat so he's not fully grown yet). This playpen has some nice features, most notably the zippered lid. I think it would be nice to have a very small breed puppy under supervision. However, kittens could easily climb the walls of the web. and since the side frames can collapse incredibly easily if you hit them, I wouldn't use it in places where kids or other pets might push it. The fabric of the bottom, sides and tote bag is very thin. I don't think it will hold up well to repeated abrasion from pet claws. It's lightweight, portable, handy and easy to set up. but it's not very durable so I wouldn't leave a pet in it unattended. For the price I would have expected a slightly thicker fabric.
