Bad gasket on thermostat
NO. DO NOT use the o-ring/gasket provided with this thermostat. The thermostat opened and closed correctly when I boiled it to test, but the gasket was too big and broke. I got it in anyway and it leaked, spilled all over my new $300 alternator and fried it. Buy a branded seal.
