A detailed list of the pros and cons from my point of view.

Summary: It's pricey, but you get amazing technology that reminds me of the old Apple days. You get what you pay for and then some more! I really like this projector! First let me say that I love Piko projectors and have bought several over the years. This technology has amazed me since the day I first got it. When I discovered the view sonic m1 projector (an older model) a few years ago, I immediately fell in love with it. However, the picture quality and brightness were lacking. The focus wheel became loose over time, and my remote broke with frequent use due to its thin frame. Here is a simplified list of my thoughts on this projector. Pros: β€’ True 1920 x 1080p resolution. The image is so sharp it almost looks 4K due to the lack of pixel fringes β€’ 1200 lumens is enough brightness to view clearly in a dark room with indirect sunlight. At night the picture is so bright that the screen illuminates the surrounding walls like a normal monitor or TV β€’ The speakers are good but certainly not studio quality. The base isn't there, but it can get loud without distortion. I would say they are better than the iPhone but not as good as the Bose speakers β€’ The noise level is perfect. The block is very quiet, and I mean quiet. It's virtually silent compared to my laptop or console. β€’ The menu is well thought out and navigation is fun. β€’ The auto focus function is perfect. There is also a refocus button on the remote control. β€’ Key store setting is also great. It had horizontal and vertical adjustment. You can also edit the four corners of the screen to stretch it perfectly, but note that this introduces a slight lag as the projector processes and distorts the image. β€’ The remote control is small but solid and appears to be of very good quality. The keys are not pressed softly and have no rubber coating, but a matte surface. β€’ By connecting to WiFi, you can use your phone to send. I found this a useful feature, but I already have Chrome Cast and an Apple TV. I did not notice such a strong delay. β€’ Quality construction and stand properly supported at every angle. Cons: Not many to be honest. β€’ Price. At $700 (taxes), it's a pretty big pill to swallow at first. However, you get what you pay for. β€’ Video Ghosting. It's not a major issue, but I did notice a slight blurring around moving objects when playing some games. In movies it's barely noticeable, but in video games it's noticeable without being distracting. β€’ Keystone correction (corner distortion) causes the projector to lag about 0.1 seconds. It's to the point where you can notice it while gaming. Luckily this is easy to fix, just don't use the edge stretch setting. β€’ No portable battery. Unlike most pico projectors, this model does not have a battery. This makes sense given that this is a new generation of pico projectors intended more for home theater use. I've read that it can run on a backup battery, but haven't personally tested this. β€’ The Micro SD card slot cannot read 64GB or larger cards. β€’ The media center's embedded software is basically illegal Asian viruses. This isn't a storefront feature, but it's worth mentioning. Final Thoughts. I can't imagine a better projector for the price. My projector has become an everyday object in my room. If you're looking for a projector like the m1 projector, but prefer quality over portability and can afford it, then definitely get one! There are so many bad projectors out there that lie about blemishes or sacrifice quality. Hope this review helped! πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ€œπŸ»πŸ€›πŸ»πŸ€˜πŸ»
