Color match works fine but putty is fully cured in canister and unusable. I had another wood putty so I used this one, waited for it to dry and sanded it smooth. Then I mixed three colors that seemed to match my floor pretty much, painted it and the colors blended really well. The dent in the floor is gone. If it wasn't for the defective putty I would give this product 5 stars. I ordered a replacement in the hope that the next time I had an issue with flooring or other woodwork that needed repairing, the putty would be fine. The color palette is wide and I see many uses for the future if putty can be used.
