Glasses are solid and well made. I use them at work to help with overhead light and screen glare. Even with my laptop and screen set to night mode, it's still too bright and these glasses are still great for cutting. The magnification on the glasses is low, I would say between 0.75 and 1.00. The only thing I didn't care was how heavy the glasses were. I had to play with the nose piece until it stopped digging into the bridge of my nose. I have to take my glasses off regularly to give my nose a break. But overall I'm very happy with them.
