I needed a new one to replace my old Samsung Gear Fit from the first generation, so I got this one. Because I thought it looked great, I went with the 42mm model. Wear on a daily basis and for running. The barometer and altimeter sensor became detached after only a month of regular use; this is a widespread issue. In addition, I did not subject them to any water treatments; nonetheless, it is likely that during the process of jogging, sweat got into the hole on the back of the watch, which was an annoyance. In terms of the ecosystem, everything works fine in general, with the exception of synchronization with Samsung Health while it is in training mode. Either the watch or the phone can be used to initiate an exercise (like an on-screen running coach, for instance). I run with the phone, listen to music via it, and I start the instructor on the clock, and he mumbles not into the headset, but into the clock. This occurs whether I am listening to music and getting workout ideas from the watch, or whether I am running a workout on the phone and not using the watch. There does not appear to be any rational explanation for why it was not feasible to broadcast the workout from the watch to the phone in real time. It is possible for you to transfer songs to your watch, but personally, I prefer to tune in to the radio whenever I want to listen to music. In overall, I am happy with the purchase, although at this point, I am looking forward to the next edition.
