Review on Joes Racing 32306 Pressure Gauge by Tanner Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

After all, the glow and accuracy.

I can attest to the glow in the face's functionality in the dark. I bought a 30psi model and when it arrived I "charged" the face by illuminating it with a Maglite and it was easily readable for 15 minutes in a dark room. I stopped testing after 15 minutes as I thought 15 minutes of readability was more than enough and had no need for further testing. I am more than happy with my 30psi gauge so I am buying a 60psi model for my other cars. By the way, do not forget to buy a pressure gauge, which is about twice as high as expected. So if you inflate your tires to 15psi (my dirt bike), get a gauge that reads 30psi, since mechanical gauges are most accurate at half the maximum reading shown on the face, or 15 pounds per square inch in this case. ANSI B40 recommends that the working pressure be in the middle half (20 to 75%) of the maximum value marked on the front face, so that at a 30 psi gauge, 6 equals 22.5 psi. This is where this sensor is most useful. Have fun inflating!
