I don't like borrowing tools from my neighbor and one day I needed a small spirit level. So I bought this one and can't complain. I think everyone needs some levels doing any kind of projects around their house. Different sizes and different shapes. This one is good because it's small enough for most projects and has magnets to help it stick to metal surfaces. I'm by no means a professional builder, and if you're working on something like building a house, I'd probably choose a more accurate level type. But it will work fine for most home projects.
