Review on 🔍 Optimized Search: Master Lock 178D Combination Padlock by Bernardino Suazo

Without other reviews I could not have picked the lock the first time. My instructions say to move the combination to LOCK. Well, the dials only have numbers, no letters. I thought they were referring to the corresponding letters for numbers on an old phone, for example. nope It didn't work either. No clues or hints as to what the LOCK means in the combination. I checked the reviews before throwing it away. Someone wrote that the release combination is 0-0-0-0. It worked. I don't understand why the manual doesn't say that. Instead, it's the wrong combination. Relieved of other reviews. Now that this stupid thing is out I have to say that the combo wheels are really hard to spin. They have to be pushed and forced or they won't rotate. Not good for someone with arthritis. I loved the look of this lock especially as it had a combination and no key which I feared losing and the combination was face down for greater weather resistance. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the difficulty of spinning the combo wheel and going in the wrong directions.
