It is simply impossible to attach them to your pet in any functional way without causing harm. The dual straps are handy for attaching the goggles, but since the goggles have no padding, you'll end up banging the hard plastic against your pet's nose, or they'll be too loose to stay in place. I was skeptical when I saw the photos but with all the positive reviews I realized there is a solution I don't see. After receiving these glasses I'm not sure what I'll see when my dog puts them on. Maybe if the goal was just costume and I didn't care if they lopsided and stuff.
