At the time of writing this is working as intended and is brightening up the night. The only issue I had with this unit was the mounting hardware - it came with two sets of allen screws, one pair longer than the other. The longer ones were used to attach the brackets to the lugs on my brush guard and then the other/shorter ones had a problem - they ended up MUCH before tightening the brackets inside the stem. This is necessary because the mounting brackets have teeth that will hook into the teeth on the stem and hold it in the position you installed the stem. I fixed this by adding a couple of my own washers between the hex head and the mounting bracket to keep the bolts from coming out before they engaged the specified "teeth". Problem solved - as always said, nothing happens. I also did as many suggested by smearing some silicone around the case (which didn't seem necessary) but didn't want to get too upset later. It replaced a couple of broken KC lights and was an easy hook up to my old wiring to get them blinding some owls the hell!
