This cable is a zip cord in which two conductors are placed side by side and the ends can be separated to connect. I love everything about this wire with one exception - you can't snap the wires without tearing the insulation in the wrong place. Instead of running right down the middle between the conductors, the gap often shifts to one side, leaving a bare wire exposed. If you are not very careful you can mess up the whole wiring project this way. I had to snip off the ends of the wire with a razor blade and then heat shrink it at the break point to keep it from tearing and exposing the conductors.
