I'm 65 years old, 5'6" and 150 lbs, waist bigger than hips. I bought a set of size 7 hipsters. They didn't fit me. Size 6. Fits exactly as I hoped. The front panel is just a panel. The elastic is located at the top of the fairing. They don't roll on jeans or trousers. They roll on with nothing under a loose dress. in the waist I do not wear it to sleep under a boiled shirt.
