I have tried other wiper blades on my 2015 Subaru Forester both with mounts and supports from Michelin, Bosch, Trico, RainX etc. , smears or does not sit flush with the edge of the windshield. Thunder Hybrid wipers work great. The 26" and 17" blades contact the glass from edge to edge of each blade and follow the curvature of the windshield from edge to edge. These are the quietest blades I've ever used in my 51 years of owning a car (at least as far as I can remember) and they deliver a clean cut. Can't comment on durability as I've only owned them for a short time, but if they last as long as the OEM blades I'm still happy.
