Review on 🪟 Tyroler Bright Tools Glider S-1 Magnetic Window Cleaner for Single Glazed Windows, Ideal for 0.1"-0.3" Window Thickness, Glass Cleaning Solution by Myron Brooks

I bought this to clean the inside of the hard to reach windscreens of various vehicles so I bought the single glass version. The app seems simple enough as it comes with a pair of wipes attached to the plastic with Velcro, but in practice it doesn't work at all. Upon opening the package, the instructions make this clear - after familiarizing yourself with the product itself and how to prevent the external mount from falling to your death, it is recommended that you essentially douse the glass with detergent/water and removing it with a mop - The mounts themselves are just 2 pieces of plastic each with 3 sturdy/strong magnets and a pair (each) of blades made from pretty poor squeegee material (in fact the devices come with a plastic storage pad which is no doubt designed for that prevent the squeegee material from compressing / deforming). I say bad because you can expect it to be almost wiper-like, but they're relatively hard plastic. Since I know this wouldn't work in my application (and besides, who cleans the inside of their windows or necessarily has the ability to spray the solution all over the outside of the window if they're buying this device for that very reason?) , I decided to put gaskets on the brackets, which the instructions almost mention in hindsight. Using the devices was easy enough as long as you drive slowly, but the cleaning action of the pads is extremely poor - "cleaning" the inside of the windshield left gaps/marks (parallel lines about 1/8 inch apart). I've cleaned a few windshields a few times (cleaned the upholstery each time) but all that came out was mud moving on the windshield. but if you plan on using them with a cleaning pad I can't say they work very well, especially considering how expensive they are.
