Great part, easy repair.

Great time - our dishwasher (Frigidaire) broke down at Christmas. The next day, after driving 15 miles across town to a store whose online site indicated the part was in stock, I arrived only to find that I had to wait for delivery. You lied. After I complained the clerk told me to be more polite on Christmas which I thought but I took note and was kind enough without buying anything and I went home and ordered it here. I wonder how long her job and company will last since her name rhymes with tears. That's the problem. Mine came a day earlier than promised. That's between 10 and 30 minutes of work depending on how handy you are and how much junk you have under your sink. Steps: 1- Go to the control panel and turn off the switch that controls your under sink dishwasher, turn off the water supply to the dishwasher and empty the dishwasher. 3- Remove the protective plate under the dishwasher (2 screws). black, white and green) 6- Remove the two screws at the top of the dishwasher that attach it to the countertop 7- Slide the dishwasher far enough forward (8-12 inches) to clear the water line of the dishwasher Disconnect Dishwasher (Leave free)8 - Disconnect the dishwasher drain hose from the drain hole9- Carefully pull the dishwasher out of the cabinets, turn it over and wipe up any spilled water on the floor10- Locate the motor and switch on off the power. It has a secure connector, so just push and pull. new one is included. If it's the same, continue. If it doesn't, apologize to your husband for telling him you figured it all out, put the dishwasher back in the cabinet, reattach the drain hose to the drain hose so it doesn't leak everywhere , and tell your man man to do it right. until the correct part arrives when you return it. 13- Use some liquid dish soap to clean the motor housing and lubricate the two new O-rings that should be on the new motor. 14- Glue the new motor into the case (taking care not to damage the o-rings) and reinstall the retaining clip when fully seated. 15- Follow steps 12-1 in reverse order. for dinner because he fixed his car and saved the cost of a new one 17- If you had a fight somewhere along the way, you probably owe him make-up sex. I only use this new part during the day. I'll try to remember to make a follow-up post in a while to cover the durability of the engine.
