I bought these radios to take with me in my jeep. I've had them for about a month now. When I am alone. It's nice to know that I can still hit the repeater in an emergency if I don't have cell service. I can take both too, so if someone in the group doesn't have one, I can lock the keypad and hand them over and all they have to do is press a key to talk. So far I am very happy with my purchase.
