My home theater has a 12 foot ceiling and the top of my projector screen is 7 feet high so I have to mount the projector about 4 feet from the ceiling to lower or close it minimize aggressive keystone corrections that degrade image quality. This projector mount is the only one that meets my height requirements. It's made of high quality materials and at full extension it's rigid enough for my BenQ HT2250 projector, which weighs over 9 pounds. It was easy for me to set up and customize. You can see in the attached photo that I attached a piece of wood (2"L x 6"W x 32"D) to the ceiling joists and then attached the projector mount to the wood so I could center the projector lens Could Line This setup works very well for me. Customer service is great. I contacted the seller about the missing hardware (a few screws) and they quickly sent me a complete projector mount. I highly recommend this mount, especially if you have a high ceiling .
